Aki Saito Bio
Music has always been a very important self-expression tool for me.
I started playing my mother's piano freely when I was 2 years old.
At the age of 5, I started taking piano lessons.
Soon, music became the main focus of my life.
After graduating from the piano conservatory high school, I continued my
higher education in music at Nihon University College of Art where I obtained a Bachelor of Art in Music - Piano Performance.
I moved to the U.S. to attend the Musician’s Institute - College of Contemporary Music in Los Angeles, California.
Right after my graduation, I landed the position of a keyboard player for the world famous singer Andy Williams. I’ve been on his world tours, TV / Radio shows, music videos as well as his regular shows.
I also have worked as a composer / arranger in projects including a TV animation, a Radio program, and a dance team competition.
I established Aki's Piano Studio in 2012.
Since then, many students have been learning piano in classic, pop, Jazz and Blues, also piano arrangements and compositions.
I love teaching music! As a professional piano/keyboard player, I have so many things I want to share with students. My hope is that students will realize how wonderful of a gift it is to be able to play and create music.
